Child ID Program On Saturday, September 19, James W. Bowers Masonic Lodge of Hancock will hold a MDCHIP (Child Identification Program) event at 42-48 West Main Street in Hancock, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Child must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. A CD will be provided with child's name, address, height, weight, eye color, hair color, description of distinguishing marks, notes on health concerns, birthdate, parental/guardian contact information, 3 to 4 photos, a video interview of the child, digital fingerprints and DNA sample. All provided free of charge by The Free Masons of Maryland.

Christmas Auction Fulton County Community Christian School will hold its annual Christmas dinner and auction Saturday, November 14 at Hustontown Firehall. Silent auction begins at 3:30 p.m. with a dinner at 5:30 p.m. and traditional auction at 6:30 p.m. More information may be obtained by calling 717-573-4400 or 717-485-3496.

CROP Hunger Walk Help fight hunger and poverty all over the world! The 2009 Fulton County CROP Hunger Walk will be held at Cowans Gap State Park on Sunday, October 4, at 2:00 p.m. Take part by asking your friends and family to sponsor you and walk in the CROP Walk. FR Open House Forbes Road High School open house will be held Thursday, September 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. All are welcome.

4-H Leader Open House 4-H new leader open house and training for all new leaders and potential leaders will be held September 17, at 6:30 p.m., at the Fulton Theater. Computer Classes Free computer classes will be offered at the Fulton County Library on Thursday, September 24: Internet Basics from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; Internet fun from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; and Microsoft Powerpoint from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please call the library at 717-485-5327 to sign up.

AARP Safe Driving Course AARP Safe Driving Course is a classroom refresher course for safe driving and will be offered at Hustontown Senior Center on September 21 and 22. Classes are from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Both days of classes are required to be eligible for the threeyear auto insurance discount. Payment is required before classes begin and checks can be made payable to AARP. Cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers. Quilt Club Retreat Fulton County Quilt Club will hold its annual retreat on Saturday, September 19, at 9:00 a.m., at Fulton Theater. Deb Ward will be teaching how to make purses. Great Cove Baskets has the supply list and the supplies for anyone interested in coming. Please bring sewing machines, sewing notions and a covered dish to share.
