Naomi R. Androchek

Naomi Rose Androchek, 71, Chambersburg, died Saturday, August 29, 2009, at her home.

Born January 17, 1938, in Pine Grove, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Glen and Blanch Jackson Kendall.

She was the widow of Melvin Welsh, Robert Baker and Dan Androchek.

She is survived by three children: Mark Welsh, Chambersburg; Gordon "Ike" Welsh, Mercersburg; and Rose M. Hawk, Jonestown, Pa.; stepson Brian Androchk, Chambersburg; two sisters: Wilma Sipes, Chambersburg, and Dixie Hoover, Hustontown; a brother, Jackie Kendall, St. Thomas; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Melvin Welsh Jr.; stepdaughter Deb Androchek; and six brothers: Jerry "Bill," Stanley, Wilbert, Don, Ronald and John.

Services were held Friday, September 4, at 10:00 a.m., in the chapel of Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg. Rev. Floyd Myers officiated. Burial was made in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.
