Woman Dies In Central Pa. Fire; Cause Unknown
COGAN STATION, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a woman found dead in her central Pennsylvania home after a fire died of smoke inhalation.
Lycoming County Coroner Charles Kiessling Jr. says 39-yearold Traci Malone was at the home with her live-in boyfriend, 50-year-old George Woodley, when the blaze broke out early Friday. Kiessling says Woodley awoke to find the house filled with smoke and tried to put out the flames with a fire extinguisher, but eventually had to flee.
Malone was found dead in an upstairs bathroom of the Old Lycoming Township home. Her 10- and 12-year-old sons were not at the home. Investigators are still trying to find out what started the blaze.
