PennDOT announced last Thursday that work has been completed two months ahead of schedule on a Fulton County bridge project that was financed with federal funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

The $508,765 project rehabilitated three bridges in Fulton County on Route 1003 in Ayr Township, Route 3006 in Bethel Township and Route 4004 in Taylor Township. The project, completed by George S. Hann & Son Inc., of Fort Littleton, had been scheduled for a mid-November 2009 completion date.

Within District 9's six-counties, PennDOT will invest more than $47 million of federal economic recovery funds on 19 transportation projects, which include road and bridge improvements and traffic signal upgrades.
