Bible Study Rock Hill Mennonite Church will be starting Bible study titled "Praying By the Power of the Spirit" by Neil Anderson on Sunday, October 4, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This book reinforces the truth that prayer is a relationship, not a ritual, and as a child of God who is already accepted by Him in Christ, you have open access to your Father and are free to be honest with Him. Church Fall Schedule McConnellsburg United Presbyterian Church announces its fall schedule: September 13 will be the start of the fall Sunday schedule. Sunday School will begin at 9:30 a.m., with a puppet show in the sanctuary, followed by a time of refreshments and fellowship in the church basement.

Gospel Sing A gospel sing featuring "Blessed Friends" on September 20 at 6:00 p.m., at Buck Valley Zion Lutheran Church. Donations will be accepted for the church and cemetery or may be mailed to secretary Linda Souders, 4143 Buck Valley Road, Warfordsburg, PA 17267.

Women's Retreat A women's retreat, a time of refreshing, will be held Friday, September 11, at 7:00 p.m .and Saturday, September 12, at 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to be held at the former Pleasant Valley Restaurant across from Freedom Worship Center, seven miles north of McConnellsburg on Rt. 522. Come explore miracle healing, deliverance, and refreshing restoration with special speaker Rev. Mary Eisenacher of Harrisburg. She will be ministering with music, preaching and personal ministry of the "prophetic word." There will also be praise and worship by sister Keen Spealin singing. All women are welcome. Evangelistic Crusade Family Christian Fellowship Church, 3301 Lincoln Way East, Fayetteville, will hold an evangelistic crusade September 25-September 27 with evangelist Donnie Swaggart, son of televangelist Jimmy Swaggart. Meetings will be at 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning and 6:00 p.m. Sunday night at the Fayetteville Elementary School, 8 East Main Street, Fayetteville. All are welcome. Annual Fall Tonoloway Service Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Church will hold it annual fall service Sunday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. The order of service will include an inspirational message delivered by Pastor Scott Gibbs of Buck Valley Christian Church, the Sharon Mennonite Bible Institute Choir and congregational hymn singing. Refreshments will be served in the churchyard immediately following the service. All are invited to attend. Tonoloway is located in southern Fulton County on state Route 655 two miles north of Hancock, Md.
