Mailbox Taken

A mailbox containing mail was stolen from the intersection of Wasamud Lane and Stoneybreak Road in Union Township on Sunday, August 30. The victim is a 48-year-old Warfordsburg man, who valued the missing mailbox at $20. DUI Investigation Continues

Pennsylvania State Police are continuing to investigate an alleged incident of driving under the influence that occurred on Saturday, August 22. At 11:12 p.m. Robert Wesley Tyler of Warfordsburg crashed at the intersection of Green Lane and Buck Valley Road. Tyler is being investigated for drunk-driving.

Juvenile Reports Harassment

An 8-year-old child from Mc- Connellsburg reported a case of harassment in the parking lot of the Cardinal Glenn Apartments in Ayr Township last Wednesday morning. According to reports given to state police by the juvenile, a 46-year-old woman from Williamsport, Md., allegedly made "unwanted physical contact" at 7:20 p.m. Anyone having observed the incident or having additional information is asked to contact Fulton County Crime Solvers by calling 717-485-5771 or Trooper Wadsworth at 717- 485-3131.

New York Man Accused Of Harassment

Twenty-four-year-old Tyran Darnell Hope of Elmhurst, N.Y, has been charged with harassment in connection with an incident in front of 655 East Maple Street in McConnellsburg Borough. On Thursday, September 3, Hope allegedly tackled a 17- year-old McConnellsburg boy, causing him to fall to the ground at 1:45 a.m. Charges against Hope were filed through Magisterial District Judge Wendy Mellott.

Tractor-Trailer Hydroplanes

A 2009 Kenworth tractortrailer hydroplaned and slid off the roadway and down an embankment after trying to pass another vehicle in the heavy rain and fog on Friday, August 28. Driver Chester W. Lewis of Sinclair, N.Y., received only minor injuries during the 3:24 p.m. crash along Interstate 70 in Bethel Township. He was transported via ambulance to Fulton County Medical Center.

Lewis, 45, will be charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic. State police were aided on the scene by Fischer's Towing and Needmore Volunteer Fire Co. and fire police.

McConnellsburg Man Arrested For DUI

Forty-seven-year-old Mc- Connellsburg resident Vincent P. Hughes has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on East Maple Street in Mc- Connellsburg Borough Thursday, September 3. At 11:55 p.m. Hughes was observed by state police troopers allegedly swerving on the street and committing various traffic violations. One Cited For Mischief

Thirty-two-year-old Gail Lynn Bohrer, address unknown, has been linked to an incident of criminal mischief that occurred at 2096 Fairview Road, Warfordsburg, on Tuesday, September 1. At 1:09 p.m. Gail Bohrer allegedly used his vehicle to damage property belonging to Floyd Stanley Bohrer, 46, of Warfordsburg.

Car Flips Over

A Baltimore, Md., woman sustained minor injuries on August 28 during a single-vehicle crash along Interstate 70 and was taken to UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital for treatment. Thirty-year-old Sapna Rustagi was wearing a seat belt when her 2008 Honda Civic hydroplaned at 4:50 p.m. and struck a guiderail and an embankment. The car flipped onto its roof. She will be cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

DUI Arrest Made In Borough

State police, McConnellsburg, made a drunk-driving arrest in McConnellsburg Borough at the intersection of South Sixth Street and Lincoln Way East on Friday, August 28. Brian O'Neal Davis, 44, of Mc- Connellsburg, was initially stopped for committing numerous traffic offenses at 11:58 p.m. and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.

Underwear Stolen

Two pairs of women's underwear were removed from a clothesline at 214 East Market, McConnellsburg, between 4:50 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Monday, August 31. The victim is a 22- year-old female. Truck Strikes Parked Vehicles

A westbound Chevrolet Silverado operated by a McConnellsburg man collided with several parked vehicles along Lincoln Way West in St. Thomas Township, Franklin County, on August 22. Twenty-year-old Adam Carr lost control of his vehicle, according to state police, causing it to drive through brush, up an embankment and into a yard, where it struck two parked vehicles. Carr was uninjured during the 5:15 p.m. accident, which state police from Chambersburg are continuing to investigate.

Two-Vehicles Collide

Two vehicles, one operated by a 16-year-old Harrisonville girl, collided at the entrance to Hardee's in Breezewood on Saturday, September 29. The teen driver, state police from Bedford reported, attempted to make a left-hand turn from the restaurant parking lot onto Route 30 at 9:29 a.m. The girl's 1998 Ford Escort crossed into the path of a westbound 2006 Saturn Ion driven by Patricia M. Lenig, 39, of York. Both drivers and the girl's passenger, Martha D. Berkstresser, 57, also of Harrisonville, were wearing seat belts. Lenig was taken to UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital for treatment. Woman Clocked At 100 MPH

A Harrisonville woman was clocked travelling 100 miles per hour in a 55-miles-per-hour speed zone in St. Thomas Township, Franklin County, on Tuesday, September 1. Twenty-eight-yearold Nichole Renee Detwiler was cited by state police, Chambersburg, for the alleged speeding violation that occurred at 11:30 p.m.

Fraud Investigated

State police, McConnellsburg investigated a case involving theft, fraud and forgery that occurred between 12:01 a.m. on December 28 and midnight on August 7. A 56-year-old Mc- Connellsburg woman reportedly had $368 taken from her Visa credit card during an Internet transaction. Forgery Investigated

State police, McConnellsburg, are continuing to investigate a case of forgery and criminal attempt theft that occurred at MacDonald's Pharmacy in Mc- Connellsburg Borough. On Tuesday, September 1, at 3 p.m., a suspect described as a 46-yearold McConnellsburg woman was involved in the incident. Trespassing Reported

A 71-year-old Crystal Spring man informed state police an unknown individual broke four windows at his hunting cabin located at 2776 Pleasant Valley Road in Brush Creek Township between 7 a.m. on August 11 and 8:34 a.m. on August 30. The person then entered the cabin before fleeing in an unknown direction. McConnellsburg Man Arrested For DUI

A 50-year-old McConnellsburg man was arrested and taken into custody by state police troopers over the weekend for driving under the influence. Jeffery Allen Singer was stopped by troopers at the intersection of Lincoln Way East and South Seventh Street in McConnellsburg Borough on Saturday, September 5, at 2:40 a.m. and determined to be driving while drunk.

Cited For Assault

A Fort Loudon man faces charges that include simple assault as a result of an episode at 150 Carrick Valley Road in Todd Township on Sunday, September 6. Dennis Lynn Fox allegedly threatened to shoot a propane tank with a .22 caliber rifle at 1 a.m. before reportedly arguing with a 26-year-old Fort Loudon woman. Fox then threw the female victim on a couch and onto the floor. Picked Up On Arrest

Chambersburg resident Wesley Parks was taken into custody on a bench warrant issued in Huntingdon County on Sunday, September 6. Parks was picked up at 2 p.m. during a traffic checkpoint set up along Aughwick Road in Dublin Township. He was transported to the Franklin County Prison and held on a detainer.

Vehicle Scratched

The passenger side of a vehicle belonging to Robert Rotz of McConnellsburg was scratched while parked at the Rotz residence along Lincoln Way East in McConnellsburg Borough. Lawn Chairs Stolen

Two lawn chairs were taken from the front porch of 628 Lincoln Way East, McConnellsburg, between 5 p.m. on September 4 and 10 a.m. on September 5. The victim is a 44-year-old female. Car Rear-ended

A 1992 Dodge Shadow was rear-ended while waiting to make a left-hand turn into a private drive along Waterfall Road last Friday. Driver Misty D. Saylor, 27, of McConnellsburg, sustained moderate injuries when her car was rear-ended. Her passengers, two 3-year-old girls and a 5-yearold male, were all secured in child safety seats. Both girls suffered minor injuries and required medical transport to Fulton County Medical Center along with Saylor.

Fellow driver Travis L. Defibaugh, 22, of Waterfall, will be cited for careless driving as a result of the 3 p.m. crash. He was not wearing a seat belt and sustained minor injuries.

Soda Machine Damaged

A soda machine located at Great Cove Golf Course in Ayr Township was damaged between 8:15 p.m. on September 4 and 6:30 a.m. on September 5. Hustontown Man Accused Of Harassment

Thirty-year-old Dale Craig Robinson of Hustontown was cited for harassment in connection with an episode at 186 Hunter Lane, Warfordsburg, on Thursday, September 3. At 12:30 a.m. Robinson allegedly threw a 23-year-old Warfordsburg area man onto the ground and continued pushing him down. State police added Robinson was threatening the man as well. Two Injured In I-70 Accident

Two juvenile passengers suffered minor injuries during a single vehicle crash along the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 Monday afternoon.

The children were riding in a Nissan Pathfinder driven by 31- year-old Daniel R. Gordon, who was also hauling a 16-foot trailer, according to state police. Daniel Gordon lost control of his vehicle at 3:45 p.m., causing it to overturn. The vehicle struck a guiderail in the median twice before coming to a rest blocking both lanes of traffic.

Daniel Gordon and Angela Marie Gordon, 28, were both wearing seat belts and escaped harm. Charges are pending against Daniel Gordon.

Traffic was detoured around the accident through the median strip. Daniel Gordon's vehicle was removed from the scene by Interstate Towing. State police were also assisted by the Breezewood Volunteer Fire Co.

Charges Pending

Charges are pending against 40-year-old James Buser in connection with a two-vehicle crash along Buck Valley Road in Bethel Township. On Monday, September 7, Buster attempted to answer his cellphone and allowed his Chevrolet 1500 truck to drift into the oncoming lane and into the path of a Ford E-350 van driven by Todd Ritz, 45. Following impact, Ritz's van struck a rocky embankment along the berm.

Buser was wearing a seat belt and escaped harm as did Ritz. Minor injuries, which did not require hospitalization, were reported with Ritz's eight juvenile passengers.

State police were aided on the crash scene by Needmore Volunteer Fire Co., fire police and Interstate Towing.

Mischief Is Crime Of The Week

Fulton County Crime Solvers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of individuals responsible for an act of criminal mischief that occurred sometime September 4 or 5.

State police, McConnellsburg, reported unknown individuals damaged a soda machine located at Great Cove Golf Course in Ayr Township. Damage to the soda machine has been estimated at $100.

Anyone having additional information concerning this crime is asked to call Fulton County Crime Solvers at 717-485-5771. Anyone providing information leading to the arrest of a suspect is eligible to receive a reward of up to $1,000 but will not have to appear in court or give their name. Crime Solvers will also pay for information leading to arrests in connection with any other crimes committed in Fulton County.
