Play continued at Great Cove Golf Course last week with a Calcutta 18 Hole Alternate Shot tournament, the 12th week of Women's League, and the 18th week of Men's League.

More than 40 golfers played in the two-man Calcutta tournament on Saturday that started at 8:30 a.m. The tournament was played as alternate shot, and prizes were given to the five lowest net scores.

The team of Dustin Doyle and Lucas Carbaugh won the tournament, and a prize of $280, with a net score of 65. Second place went to Bab Paruch and Charlie Fields, who also had a 65. They received $240. In third, winning $200, were Matt Hale and Tom King, who shot a 67, and the $180 fourth-place prize went to Victor Erickson and Mike Kendall, who had a 68. There was a three-way tie for fifth between the teams of Gerald Feister and Allan Arnold, Andrew Ritchey and Terry Sheeder, and Chris Munson and Larry Lecompte. Each team posted a score of 69 and won $160.

In the 12th week of Women's League, Blair and Blair are in the lead with 13 points. The team of Boyle and O'Donnell is still in second with 10, and there is a tie for third between the teams of Frazier and Fontaine, and Howe and Liz, who have 9.5 points.

After the 18th week of Men's League, Boyle and O'Donnell are in the lead with 36.5 points. Mayhugh and Tyson are in second, down half a point with 36. Currently in third, with 34.5 points, are the teams of Shives and Shives, Kendall and Yocum, and Weller and Mellott.
