Stacy Hill Benefit Set For Sept. 3

On June 22, 2009, Stacy Hill sustained a head injury while dismounting a tractor tire, and was flown to Hershey Medical Center where he underwent reconstructive surgery. Following the initial surgery, Stacy has had to return to Hershey twice because of complications.

To help the Stacy and his family, Cove Mills Old Farm Machinery Association will sponsor a benefit concert featuring Barry Scott and Second Wind, an award-winning bluegrass gospel group on Thursday, Sept. 3. The benefit will be held on the show grounds next to Wilkins Farm and Home Supply in Warfordsburg (exit 168 off I-70).

Parking, including a handicapped accessible area, will be provided and the benefit will also offer plenty of good food. Antique tractors will be on display.

Those attending should bring lawn chairs, as this is an outdoor event. Gate opens at 2 p.m. Admission is $15 and children under 12 are admitted free of charge. The public is invited to support this cause. For more information, contact Gary at my8mmauser@yahoo.com. or call 717-860-1880.
