Library Receives LSTA Grant For Teens

SPECIAL TO THE NEWS

Fulton County Library recently received a grant under the Library Services and Technology Act, funded by the institute for Museum and Library Services.

The grant is for $7,000 to add new books and materials to the young adult section of the library.

The teen area will be expanded with the new building so there will be space for more materials as well s computers. Teens will have a comfortable sitting area to browse their collection, sit and chat or study.

The library's Web page hosts a survey that young adults are asked to complete to assist the library in making this area a special place for teens. To access the survey, go to the library's homepage at fultoncountylibrary. org and click on the survey link. Teens who are interested in serving on the library's teen advisory board should contact the library at 717-485-5327, ext. 202, or by e-mail at jbrambley@ fclspa.org.
