Now that those warm dog days are over we still are having nice warm temperatures.

Several folks visited with Vivian Covert on Wednesday, August 12, at the extended care unit at Fulton County Medical Center to wish her happy birthday wishes. Visiting were Don and Belle Berkstresser, Kelly Joe Truax and son, Lloyd Covert and Kate Berkstresser.
Sorry to hear Chuck Truax is still a patient at Fulton County Medical Center. Hope he will be recovered and home soon.

Hustontown Fire Co. will sponsor a food auction Friday, September 11, at 6:00 p.m. The kitchen will open at 5:00 p.m. Also, an open stage will be held Saturday, August 22 at 6:00 p.m.

Household hint: bulk up - larger quantities mean lower costs. Buy wisely, divide into smaller portions. It is nice to package amount for serving for a meal for freezing. Makes it nice just to take out the amount needed.
