Hustontown Fan Meets Jonas Bros.

Having wanted to meet the Jonas Brothers face-to-face for the last two years, Amber Oliver of Hustontown finally had her dream come true on Saturday, July 25, during a sold-out concert at Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh. Oliver, a senior at Slippery Rock University and 2006 Forbes Road graduate, got her opportunity through a backstage, meet-and-greet pass awarded through the rock group's fan club known as "Team Jonas." Oliver stated she was among the 250 people to meet the three brothers at the Pittsburgh event that saw 18,036 people in the center stage setup. The concert, however, was only one brief stop on the group's World Tour. Even though Oliver and her friends are all "huge" fans of the Jonas Brothers, she admits to being partial to Nick.
