Judge Van Horn Presides Over Court Session

Judge Carol L. Van Horn of the 39th Judicial District of the Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held on Tuesday, July 7, at the Fulton County Courthouse.

Marco Tulio Davila appeared with his attorney for arraignment proceedings held on charges of driving under the influence. Davila pled guilty and was sentenced to complete between two days and six months in the Franklin County Prison. He will also pay a $500 fine.

Levi Gene Bisser appeared with legal counsel on charges of access device fraud and unsworn falsifications to authorities. Bisser pled guilty to both counts and will be sentenced on August 18 following a presentence investigation.

Bisser also appeared on unrelated charges of receiving stolen property to which he entered a guilty plea. On two additional sets of charges including burglary, criminal-attempt burglary and theft by unlawful taking, Bisser again pled guilty. He will be sentenced on August 18.

Derek James Lininger appeared with his attorney and entered a guilty-plea to aggravated indecent assault. Lininger will be sentenced on August 18.

Roger Dale Mills appeared with legal counsel on charges of driving under the influence. Mills pled guilty and will be sentenced on August 18.

Lonne Randolph Sheeder entered a guilty plea to recklessly endangering another person and will be sentenced on August 18.

Richard Thomas Truett Jr. pled guilty to driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license. He will be sentenced on August 4.

Philip Joseph Secrist was placed into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program on charges of driving under the influence and summary offenses.

Brad Criswell Beatty was sentenced to 12 months probation and payment of $200 in fines for criminal trespassing.

Continuances granted until the October 26 court term include Stephen William Dubree Jr. and Zachary Michael Pittman.
