New Members On Board At The First National Bank Of Mercersburg
President & CEO Robert J. Fignar announced recently that three new members have been added to the board of associates - James S. Junkin of Willow Hill, David C. Rajtik of Chambersburg, and Linda Nair Zeger of Mercersburg.
James S. Junkin resides in Willow Hill where he farms turkey, swine, sheep and does cropping and was awarded the distinction of 2000 Conservation Farmer of the Year. He was president of Franklin County Farm Bureau for four years and has been a board member for 10 years. Currently he is vice president of PA Independent Poultry Producers Cooperative, a member of Fannett-Metal School Board and a board member of Franklin County Area Development Corporation. He and his wife, Judy, have three adult children.
David C. Rajik resides in Chambersburg and is the owner of the Antrim Insurance Agency. Early in his working life he was a staff internal auditor at Valleybank and Trust Company, followed by employment at the First National Bank of Everett where he started the internal audit department and loan review department. In 1994 he became the chief financial officer at Strickler Agency in Chambersburg. In 1997 he started the Antrim Insurance Agency. Over the years he has served on several non-profit boards and currently is the chairman of the board of directors at Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife Pam have three sons.
Linda Nair Zeger resides in Mercersburg and is enjoying a busy retirement following a 35- year career as an elementary teacher in the Tuscarora School District. She was PA State Nutrition Educator of the Year in 1992.
Over the years, she has served on numerous community nonprofit groups including Mercersburg PTO, JBMS Music Boosters, JBHS Athletic Boosters, Tuscarora Education Foundation, Buchanan Lioness Club, Meals on Wheels and Mercersburg Women's Club. She and her husband, James, have two adult children and two granddaughters.
