Concrete Box Culvert To Be Installed On Interstate 70
PennDOT announced that on Wednesday, July 29, a project to replace a concrete cross pipe on Interstate 70 near Warfordsburg, Fulton County, will begin.
The project will consist of replacing an existing concrete cross pipe with a concrete box culvert. The project is located approximately .09 miles south of Warfordsburg, Pa., on Interstate 70 where the roadway crosses over a tributary of the Little Tonoloway Creek. The work will take place in both directions of Interstate 70. Short-term, day- light lane closures will occur but no long-term delays are expected.
The contractor for this $1.7 million project is C.H.& D. Enterprises Inc. of New Stanton. The project is being funded with 100 percent state funds and is expected to be completed by mid November.
