MEETINGS

Sportsmen's League Meeting Fulton County Sportsmen's League will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the stone house at the trout nursery September 18. There will be no meetings held during July and August.

Singles Meeting Knobsville Singles will meet August 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Cowans Gap State Park for a picnic. Bring covered dish. Paper plates, etc. will be provided. More information may be obtained by calling Cherie at 987-3493.

Chamber Meetings Fulton County Chamber of Commerce & Tourism members are welcome to join in for lunch at the monthly membership meetings the third Wednesday of each month at 12:30 p.m., at the American Legion in McConnellsburg. A guest speaker will be featured at each meeting. Annual membership fee includes the cost of lunch for one person for the organization and a guest at an additional cost. No July and August meetings due to summer break.

Legion Meeting American Legion Post 561 active members regular meeting is the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. Auxiliary members meet the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Members of both organizations are urged to attend.

Republican Women To Meet The Fulton County Council of Republican women will not be meeting during the month of July. The organization's next scheduled meeting has been set for Thursday, August 13, at 4:45 p.m. at Lincoln Way Pizza.

PARSE Meeting Pennsylvania Association of Retired State Employees (PARSE) has a 9:00 a.m. breakfast meeting on the second Wednesday of every month at McConnellsburg FOVA (VFW). All retired state employees and spouses are invited to attend. For additional information, call 485-4763.

Town Meeting Fulton County commissioners will hold a town meeting August 6 at Union Township Building, Warfordsburg, at 7:00 p.m.

Democratic Meetings Fulton/Franklin Democratic Club meets the third Tuesday of each month in Democratic Headquarters at 7:00 p.m., 123 South Second Street, McConnellsburg. Meetings are open to the public, light refreshments are provided and all are welcome. More information may be obtained by calling 485-3386.
