Hazel M. Justice
She was born on August 25, 1917, in Breezewood, a daughter of the late Thomas R. and Nellie A. (Mellott) Truax.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by the following brother and sisters: Ethel Ritchey, Elmer Truax, Florence Francisco and Zola Shaffer.
She attended Mountain Chapel Brethren In Christ Church, Breezewood.
She worked during World War II in an aerobatic factory building planes and later worked at Howard Johnson's in Breezewood as a hostess and cashier.
She retired from Best Form in Johnstown.
She enjoyed attending auctions, yard sales and her trips to Wal-Mart.
Her cats always had a special place in her heart.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 11, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Akers Funeral Home, Everett. Pastor Ronald Hott and Pastor Curtis Bryant officiated. Burial was in Everett Cemetery, Everett.
