Reward Offered For Apologetic Pa. Bank Robber

MOUNT MORRIS, Pa. (AP) - National City Bank is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a shotgun wielding bank robber who apologized for frightening tellers during a heist last month.

The FBI says the robber took an undisclosed amount of money from the bank in Mount Morris, Greene County, on June 29.

The robber jumped onto the bank's counter and demanded money after he tried to go behind the counter, but was stopped because a door was locked.

Police say the man wore a black ski mask and drove a way in a brown sedan with West Virginia license plates.
