Mildred Peterson Mellott, 98, Joins Alumni Association


On Sunday, July 12 at the Burnt Cabins ballfield pavilion a birthday celebration of 98 years was held in the honor of Mildred Peterson Mellott. Pictured is Mildred accepting her one-year membership into the McConnellsburg Alumni & Friends Association from President Robert Snyder. Mildred graduated from McConnellsburg High School in 1930. She is the oldest living graduate known to belong to the association. The association is looking for new members. Everyone is invited to join and help save the old MHS building and help with the development of the Fulton County Sports Museum and the McConnellsburg Alumni Museum.
