Anniversary wishes to Gary and Donna Clark.

Get well wishes to Jim and Carolyn Mills, Wayne and Mary Mort, Michelle Houck Senft, George Cook, Neva Fleming, Kay Anderson, Emma Stains and Gene Cornelius.

Get well wishes to Wade Patterson, who was injured in a construction accident last week. He was sporting a set of crutches and some staples in his head for a few days. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Congratulations to Eden Naugle and Aaron Clark on the recent birth of their daughter, Olivia Faith, born on June 30. Olivia is the granddaughter of Pam Naugle and the greatgranddaughter of Thelma Shoop. She weighed 6 pounds, 15 1/2 ounces at birth.

Gail Stains would like to thank everyone for their food, prayers, telephone calls and get well wishes while she was recovering from the broken bones in her foot. She is now able to put a little weight on her foot and will soon start physical therapy.

Immanuel Bible Church Sunday School picnic was held at Cowans Gap State Park on Sunday with beautiful weather and a great attendance. Baptism services were held at 2 p.m.

Bible School services at Immanuel Bible Church begin this Sunday, July 19, with a kickoff picnic at 4:30 p.m and will continue each night throughout the week.

Bobby Madden and friend Jean of Pittsburgh visited with Buzz and Bea Covert this weekend. On Friday evening the group enjoyed watching Shaine Goshorn's baseball game at Mount Union.

Visitors in the home of Steve, Karen, Terri and Tammy Grissinger this week were Donnie and Panda Horne, Travis Madden, Angie Roher, Tom Streightiff, Brent Carlson, Rick Anderson, Deanna Shope and Ramon Martin.

Alice Roher of Rhode Island and nephew Philip Roher of State College visited with Bea Covert on Wednesday. Alice, a cousin of Buzz Covert's, was visiting local sites she enjoyed while growing up in the area.

Visiting recently with Roger and Pat Ramsey were Brian and Emily Ramsey and Ronnie Horne.

The Clear Ridge ladies and gents will be holding a festival on July 23. >The menu for this festival will be ham dinners, home-made pies and ice cream.

Hustontown Volunteer Fire Co.will be having an antique car show at the firehall on July 18.

National Ice Cream Day is July 19 so be sure to indulge in all of your favorites.
