Taylor Awarded Penn State Behrend Degree
Walter M. Taylor, formerly of McConnellsburg and Fayetteville, Pa., was among the 490 students who graduated from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, during the spring commencement ceremony held on Saturday, May 16. Taylor, who currently resides in Erie, received a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering technology.
Taylor works at LORD Corp., a diversified aerospace technology company, in quality engineering. While at the Behrend College he served as president of the college ski club.
He is the son of Timothy and Margaret Uhrich Taylor of Erie. The Taylors had previously resided in Franklin and Fulton counties.
Penn State Behrend is a comprehensive residential college offering 34 bachelor's, six associate, four pre-professional and two graduate degree programs with 22 minors to more than 4,600 students.
