Dora Lynch and Tammy Ranck enjoyed a day of golf on Thursday at Down River Ladies Invitational in Everett.

Deb Ward and Dotti Barton of Needmore enjoyed a trip with their mother, Charlotte Ward Stahle, to Belleville last Wednesday.

Tim and Debra McGarvey observed their 22nd wedding anniversary on June 20.

Tom and Delores Christian and George and Mary Truax toured the Mid-western states and Ottawa, Canada, for 10 days.

Sympathy goes out to the family of Wilbert Keefer, who passed away last week.

Jeannie Staudenmaier of Myers Avenue passed away last Tuesday and will be very much missed by her neighbors, Alma and Kay.

Helen D. Hann of Webster Mills had surgery in Washington County Hospital last week and hopes to been home soon.

Cleo Younker of the Hancock area is a patient at Fulton County Medical Center after injuring her hip from a fall.

The McConnellsburg girls soccer team, under the supervision of coach Toby McGarvey, held a car wash on Saturday at Horton's Floors and more. Thanks to the parents and customers for making it a success. Good job, girls.

Junior and Hannelore Hann will observe their 19th wedding anniversary on July 7.
