Historical Society News

A fine collection of 18 Southern Fulton High School yearbooks has been donated to the Fulton County Historical Society library. The yearbooks belonged to longtime teacher George Crouse and were given by his son, Bob Crouse.

The yearbooks date from 1953 to 1980. The Historical Society library collects local Fulton County material. School yearbooks are of interest to people who grew up here. The library has no yearbooks more recent than 1981 for either Southern Fulton or Forbes Road.

Library renovation is on schedule and will reopen in August. Volunteers willing to help with inventory and to arrange the Historical Society's books on shelves in the new facility should contact society librarian Mary Black at 987-3966 or society president Dick Miller at 485-3412.
