SPECIAL TO THE NEWS

More than 150 children and their families attended the Fulton County Library's Summer Reading Program kickoff with musical group The Cat's Pajmas" on Friday, June 19.

The library would like to thank Kathy Kendall for her assistance and the use of the Alumni Community Building.

The program was sponsored in part by the Community State Bank of Orbisonia. The performance was also supported by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts through its regional arts funding partnership, Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA). State government funding for the arts depends on an annual appropriation by the commonwealth of Pennsylvania and support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
