This crew was busy helping with the preparation work for the potpie fundraiser dinner for Amanda Yocum. Kate Cowan stopped by as well with an overwhelming amount of pies for the festivities on Saturday and gave the ladies her birthday wishes. Heartfelt gratitude and thanks goes to all those in the community who donated for the ham potpie dinner and who supported it.

The rain has been making the grass grow faster than the oncea week mowing rule. We are now setting in for a few dry days. Along with the grass growing, the weeds are exploding, so it will keep us busy whacking them off. What did they do before gas powered trimmers? I don't even want to go there. The gardens are sure looking good and we're anxious for the tomatoes to start getting ripe.

Tom and Mamie Streightiff enjoyed seeing two different rainbows on their way to Lewistown on Friday evening.
