SF Alumni Assoc. Awards Scholarships

Emily Garland Emily Garland The Southern Fulton Senior Alumni Association awarded a total of $1,000 in scholarships to two seniors at Southern Fulton High School this year.

By a generous contribution of some of the scholarship committee members, three other seniors received a $100 schoalrship.

Emily Garland and Elaina Truax are the recipients of the $500 scholarships.

Emily is the daughter of Jamie and Shirley Garland of Warfordsburg. She will be attending Shenandoah University in Winchester, Va., and will be majoring in doctorate of physical therapy.

Elaina is the daughter of Larry and Sue Truax of Needmore. She will be attending Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pa., and will be majoring in pre-med.

Elizabeth Hartman, Chelsey Hollenshead and Natalie Keebaugh are the three seniors who received $100 scholarships.

Hartman is the daughter of Larry and Carla Hartman of Warfordsburg. She will be attending Brigham Young University in Utah and majoring in premusic.

Chelsey Hollenshead is the daughter of Joe and Heather Hollenshead of Needmore. She will be attending Penn State University Main Campus in University Park, Pa., and her major is undecided at this time.

Elaina Truax Elaina Truax Natalie Keebaugh is the daughter of James Keebaugh of Warfordsburg and Mary Ann Poet of Crystal Spring. She will be attending Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, Pa., and will be majoring in radiology.
