Angel Food Ministries There will be sign-up for the June Angel food menus and specials at the Fulton County Catholic Mission. The times will be on Monday, June 8, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, June 9, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday, June 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Warfordsburg Presbyterian Church Saturday, June 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. If you eat, you qualify. Festival St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Big Cove Tannery, will hold a festival June 20 at 4:00 p.m. The menu will include homemade ice cream, soups, pies and cakes. Also served will be barbecue, hamburgers and hot dogs. Entertainment will be by the Silver Creek country band from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The church is located five miles south of McConnellsburg on Route 522. Thrivent has made available matching funds.

Festival Siloam United Methodist Church will be having a festival Saturday, June 13, at 4:00 p.m. Soup, sandwiches, pie and homemade ice cream will be served. Music will be the Country Christians. All are welcome.

Yard/Bake Sale Asbury United Methodist Church women are holding a yard and bake sale consisting of pulled pork barbecue sandwiches, baked beans and macaroni salad for $7. Hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. June 13 at Asbury United Methodist Church. Held rain or shine.

Ice Cream Social An ice cream social will be held June 13 at 5:00 p.m. at Needmore Fire Co. Food, games, dime pitch, dart throw, fish game and open mic night. More information may be obtained by calling 717-573-2821.

Ag Appreciation Picnic Several Fulton County organizations will be sponsoring an Ag Appreciation picnic on Sunday, July 12, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the American Legion picnic grounds just north of Mc- Connellsburg. This picnic will take the place of the annual Farm Bureau picnic and the Farm City or Tri Ag banquet. Local organizations supporting this event include the Fulton County Farm Bureau, Fulton County Conservation District, Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Penn State Cooperative Extension and the Fulton County Milk Promoters. The event will include a free pig roast, volleyball tournament and kids activities. Pork, rolls, place settings and beverages will be provided. Please bring a covered dish to share with the group. Hunters Helping Kids Banquet Hunters Helping Kids Mason Dixon Chapter will hold a banquet June 20 at Hustontown Firehall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a meal and hunting auction to follow. Cost is adults $20; couples $30; children 6-11, $10 and five and under are free. There will be lots of fun and games for the whole family. More information may be obtained by calling 717-485-5529.

Center Festival Center United Methodist Church will be having its first festival Saturday, June 6, at 4:00 p.m. Turkey or ham dinners will be served with the fixings. Other goodies will be available: sandwiches, soup, cakes, pies and homemade ice cream. The church is located one-half mile off Route 655, on Dublin Mills Road. Upcoming festivals are July 11 and August 29.
