Homer E. Smith
Homer E. Smith, 65, Webster, Pa., died Sunday, April 12, 2009, in Mon Valley Hospital.
He was the son of the late William D. and Ethel (Booth Smith. He was born in Purcell, Pa., February 16, 1944.
He had resided in Webster since 1960 and was employed as a truck driver for Webster Auto Parts.
Surviving are four daughters and sons-in-law: Darla and Rick Sturtz, Fredericktown; Connie and Ron Babich, Benleyville; Vicki and Kevin Bennett, Webster; and Rhonda and Thomas Toth, Belle Vernon; a son, Rodney E. and Rebecca Smith, Belle Vernon; and nine grandchildren: Brandi and Mark Morgan, Brandon and Ashley Smith, Kane Tomcanin, Haley and Carley Bennett, and Meagan and Aaron Toth.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen (Lunt) Smith on August 12, 1999, and a sister, Ruth E. Miller.
Funeral services were held in the Furguson Funeral Home, Belle Vernon, Pa., April 15, at 12:30 p.m. Rev. William Bailey officiated. Burial was made in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
