MES Character Counts Program
McConnellsburg Elementary is continuing its character education program this year. It is believed that character counts so each month a different character trait will be promoted. In April respect and how to be considerate of others and their belongings. The students were chosen by their teacher in demonstrating the qualities of respect. They will receive a certificate that is placed in the hallway for the month of May. The traits that are continuing to be worked on this year are citizenship, compassion, fairness, honesty, integrity, perseverance, responsibility, respect and self-discipline.
