McConnellsburg 8, Everett 7

Teammates Alexis Mellott and Sam McQuade both had doubles for the McConnellsburg Lady Spartans, who slipped past the Everett Warriors 8-7 Monday evening. McQuade went two-fortwo with two RBIs, while Mellott was two-for-four. Lisa DeShong batted two-for-four, and Nikki McQuade had two RBIs while going two-for-three. Pitcher Megan Eichelberger totalled 12 strikeouts, eight walks, six hits and six earned runs.

Tussey Mountain 19,

Forbes Road 4

Ariel Hall posted two hits and added a stolen base for the Forbes Road Cardinals during a 19-4 Sideling Hill League loss to the Tussey Mountain Titans Monday. Lauren King started the game for the Lady Cardinals and finished with six walks, five hits and two earned runs.

Southern Fulton 5,

McConnellsburg 2

Southern Fulton tallied three runs in the third inning and added two more for a 5-2 Sideling Hill League win over Mc- Connellsburg this week. Kelsey White's pitching record moved to 8-5 with the victory. White recorded five strikeouts, two walks, five hits and only one earned run. Alexis Knisely had the game's only extra-base hit, a double for the Indians. Spartan pitcher Megan Eichelberger rounded out the day with five strikeouts, five walks, four hits and two earned runs.

So. Fulton 5, Fannett-Metal 4

Southern Fulton picked up a narrow victory last Friday, defeating the Fannett-Metal Tigers during a Sideling Hill League game by the final score of 5-4. Kelsey White saw her season pitching record go to 7-5 after recording three strikeouts, four walks, eight hits and four earned runs. Brooke Whiteside had the only extra-base hit, a double, and also had a stolen base. Whiteside finished the match batting three-for-four with two RBIs. Taylor Leasure and Alexis Knisely both had two hits.

McCbg. 3, Northern Bedford 0

McConnellsburg's offense rallied for two runs in the opening inning last Friday and held on for the 3-0 win over the Northern Bedford Panthers. Alexis Mellott went three-for-four with two RBIs for the Lady Spartans. Pitcher Megan Eichelberger had 14 strikeouts, five walks and only gave up one hit during the Sideling Hill League game.

Fannett-Metal 14, Forbes Road 0

The Forbes Road Cardinals received a blasting at the hands of the Fannett-Metal Tigers, who easily won Saturday's Sideling Hill League match 14-0. Cardinal pitcher Lauren King took the loss with one strikeout and seven walks. Southern Fulton 13, Forbes Road 0 Southern Fulton 18, Forbes Road 4

Southern Fulton easily clinched both games in Thursday's doubleheader against the Forbes Road Lady Cardinals with Indian pitchers Kelsey White and Keena Elbin picking up the wins. White rallied for nine strikeouts and two walks in the opener, while Elbin followed up with four strikeouts, two walks, four hits and three earned runs. Lauryn King took the losses for Forbes Road. In game one, King had two strikeouts, 11 hits, one walk and nine earned runs. Elbin, White and Alexis Knisely each contributed four RBIs during the Sideling Hill League doubleheader.
