Poll: Most Pennsylvanians Don't Fear Swine Flu

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - Two-thirds of Pennsylvania residents say they are not very worried that they or someone in their families will come down with swine flu.

A Qunnnipiac University poll released today found that 31 percent of Pennsylvania voters were somewhat or very worried about the flu threat, while 68 percent said they were not.

Sixty-three percent of the respondents said they feel news coverage of the flu has been overblown, while 66 percent said they believe the government's response to the threat has been justified.

Quinnipiac conducted telephone interviews with 1,120 Pennsylvania voters between Wednesday and Sunday. The survey carries a sampling error margin of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.
