Southern Fulton 100,

McConnellsburg 49 McConnellsburg 109, Hancock 37

Southern Fulton 111, Hancock 33

While Southern Fulton picked up a pair of easy wins over Mc- Connellsburg and Hancock Monday evening, McConnellsburg trounced Hancock by the overwhelming score of 109-37. Crystal Appel had a trio of wins in the shot put, discus and javelin for the Indians, while Amy Bard also added three victories in the 400 and 800 meter events and the high jump. Caitie Mellott took the 100 and 200 meter, and Elaina Truax won both the 100 and 300 hurdles. Jenna Hollenshead and Chelsey Hollenshead racked up respective first-place wins in the 1600 meter and pole vault. Teammate Lacey Beatty won the 3200 meter and ran a leg for the winning 3200 relay team of C. Hollenshead, Laura Hawkins and Mariah Hill. J. Hollenshead, Cierra Covalt, Truax and Bard were victorious as the 1600 relay team.

Lady Spartans Jess Nero, Lexi Shore, Sarah Brady and Santana Ramsey running as the 400 relay team took a first-place finish, as did Dakota Deneen in the long jump.

McConnellsburg 94, Fairfield 51

McConnellsburg racked up several individual event wins as well as several victories in relay events for a 94-51 non-league meet win over Fairfield. Michelle Baker took the 1600 and 800 meter events, and Sarah Brady was victorious in the high jump. Cheyenne Hege won the long jump, while Jessica Nero rounded out the day with a win in the triple jump. The pole vault event was captured by Lexie Shore, while AíLeese Dickerson won the shot put. Meanwhile, Jordan Boor, Morgan Barclay, Gabrielle McGarvey and Conchita Bartelone combined to win the 3200 meter relay. Baker, Dakota Deneen, Dickerson and Santana Ramsey each ran a leg to win the 1600 meter relay.

Northern Bedford Invitational

Southern Fulton Lady Indian Amy Bard captured a pair of first-place finishes last Friday at the Northern Bedford Invitational. Bard won the 400 and 800 meter, while teammate Jenna Hollenshead had a fourth-place victory in the 1600. Lacey Beatty finished with a fifth-place ranking in the 3200 meter.

Southern Huntingdon 67

Caitie Mellott racked up three first-place finishes for the Southern Fulton Indians, who slipped by the Southern Huntingdon Rockets by a score of 82-67 last Thursday. Mellott had wins in the 100 meter, 200 meter and triple jump. She also ran a leg for the winning 1600 relay team of Elaina Truax, Jenna Hollenshead and Amy Bard. In addition, Bard again won the 400 and 800 meter. Chelsey Hollenshead won the 1600 meter and pole vault and participated in the first-place 3200 relay team of Laura Hawkins, Mariah Hill and Lacey Beatty. Beatty rounded out the non-league match garnering a first-place win in the 3200 meter.

McConnellsburg 34

The 1600 relay team comprised of McConnellsburg Lady Spartan teammates Michelle Baker, Dakota Deneen, A'Leese Dickerson and Santana Ramsey clinched a first-place finish last Tuesday during a quad meet against Everett, West Branch and Conemaugh Township. Michelle Baker finished out the day with a second-place victory in the mile.
