Shirley Prager was an active member of the Fulton County Medical Center Auxiliary. She served as president, secretary, and gift cart co-chairman which included the RADA cutlery sales, a major fundraiser for the auxiliary. She was also a very skilled cook and excellent baker.

After her passing, her husband Phil Prager and their family edited a collection of Shirley's recipes along with photos into a memory cookbook titled "Just About Ready." The memory cookbooks were sold for a donation of the buyer's choice.

Funds from the memory cookbooks were used to commission local craftsman Donald Ray to design and custom build an oak cabinet to be used to display and store the RADA products.

A plaque on the newly dedicated cabinet reads:

In Memory of Shirley Prager

Crafted by Don Ray

For the Fulton County Medical Center Auxiliary

Made Possible Through the Generous Donations for the Book "Just About Ready"

The next scheduled FCMC Auxiliary event is a bake and craft sale taking place on Friday, May 8 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon in the main lobby of the Fulton County Medical Center. Copies of the memory cookbook are still available and can be purchased for a donation of your choice at the May 8 sale or through the FCMC Community Relations & Development Office.
