7,000 Pounds Of Electronics Collected At Recycling Event


Fulton County Conservation District recently hosted a successful electronics recycling event. During the course of the event, 13 pallets of material estimated at about 7,000 pounds were collected for recycling. Many residents expressed their appreciation for the collection as they'd been holding on to old computer equipment, unsure of how to properly dispose of it. Computer Parts & Electronics Recycling out of South Williamsport, Pa., transported the old electronics to their facility for sorting, refurbishing, dismantling, or sale to other recyclers.
