Mary, her daughter Carol and husband Dave Tebo spent the weekend in Washington, D.C., April 4-5 to celebrate and enjoy the cherry blossoms. They attended the parade and visited all of the monuments and also spent time in old town Alexandria, had dinner at the Globe and Laurel Restaurant outside of Quantico Marine Base and spent the night at Fort Belvoir. On Sunday they toured Arlington Cemetery.
Mary's family and close friends joined her for a picnic celebration at the Kerper Tract in Big Cove Tannery April 26. They then walked the Deshong Trail crossing over the Cove Creek at two different locations. Even though the day reached 93 degrees, the trees and creek water made this a picture-perfect setting for all. Next year the group will attempt the Dickey's Mountain Trail. Participants ranged in age of 21 months to 80 years.
Mary's family, her church and her many friends all wished her a happy birthday on this milestone.
