Amy Bard picked up a pair of individual wins and ran a leg for the winning 1600 relay team last Thursday during a set of nonleague meets against Everett and Juniata Valley. Bard took the 400- and 800-meter events and was aided in the 1600 relay by Elaina Truax, Caitie Mellott and Jenna Hendershot. Mellott was victorious in the 200 meter, and Cierra Covalt won the 300 hurdles. Meanwhile, Kelsey Truax and Chelsey Hollenshead picked up respective wins in the 100 hurdles and pole vault.

McConnellsburg split a pair of non-league meets last Tuesday was edging out Mount Union and easily falling to Bellwood- Antis. The McConnellsburg Lady Spartans 3200 relay squad comprised of Dakota Deneen, Gabrielle McGarvey, Conchita Bartolon and Michelle Baker racked up a win and the team's only first-place victory.

Southern Fulton captured a pair of wins last Tuesday, easily downing both Tussey Mountain and West Branch with an allaround solid effort by the Lady Indian squad. Caitie Mellott had wins in the 100- and 200-meter events, while teammate Amy Bard was victorious in the 400 meter, 800 meter and high jump. Elaina Truax took the 300 hurdles, while Lacey Beatty and Jenna Hollenshead had respective first-place finishes in the 3200 meter and long jump. Javelin and pole-vault winners were Crystal Appel and Chelsey Hollenshead, who along with Laura Hawkins, Bard and Truax took the 1600 relay.

Southern Fulton picked up three first-place wins last Monday while dropping two meets to Northern Bedford and Bellwood Antis. Amy Bard secured up two of the Lady Indians victories with top finishes in the 400 and 800 meter. Lacey Beatty wrapped up the non-league event with a win in the 3200 meter.

With several key performances, including that of ninth-grader Jenna Hollenshead, the Southern Fulton Lady Indians trounced Hancock, Md., 85-47 Monday evening during a non-league meet. Hollenshead took the 3200 meter and long jump and ran a leg for the winning 3200 and 1600 relay teams. Amy Bard again took the 1600 and 200 meter individual events, and Caitie Mellott won the 100 and 400 meter. Crystal Appel picked up a pair of individual wins in the shot put and discus, and the 800 meter was won by Chelsey Hollenshead. Kelsey Truax wrapped up the evening with a win in the 100 hurdles and was a member of the victorious 800 meter squad of Jamie Spade, Elaina Truax and Chelsey Hollenshead.
