Public Meeting Announced For I-70 Roadway, Bridge Preservation

PennDOT will hold a public meeting and plans display for the Interstate 70 roadway and bridge preservation project in Brush Creek, Bethel and Union townships, Fulton County. The roadway and bridge preservation project will include work on the eastbound and portions of the westbound lanes of Interstate 70. There will also be work at the Crystal Springs, Town Hill and Amaranth interchanges. There will be a detour in place at the Crystal Springs Interchange for a portion of the project.

The plans display will introduce the project and allow the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project and traffic control, as well as comment on potential environmental and community effects. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend this meeting. Representatives from PennDOT will be available to answer questions and receive input on the project.

The meeting will be held in an open-house format on Tuesday, April 28, at the Breezewood Fire Co., 150 Municipal Road, Breezewood, Pa. The meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
