Rick, Tonya and Levi Doyle hosted Easter dinner at their home in Shade Gap last Sunday. Joining in for dinner were Derrick and Heather Doyle, Sam and Karen Runk, J.R., Wendy, Alena, Clayton and Zoe Everts, Ralph Steaver, Madeline Gartland, and Merrill and Kay Rosenberry.

Fred and Sharon Horne, Andy, Tasha, Shaine and Kean Goshorn, Travis Madden, and Angie Roher enjoyed Easter dinner with Buzz and Bea Covert. Later in the day, the boys enjoyed an egg hunt.

Cameron Locke, son of Adam and Amanda Locke, celebrated his 10th birthday this past Sunday. Attending his celebration were Gordon, Donna, James, Justin, Adam, Amanda, Brayden and Toryn Locke, Dave, Linda, Matt, Crystal, Logan, D.J and Abigail Shauf, and Ruth Grissinger.

Easter dinner guests at the home of Gordon and Donna Locke included James Locke, Mark Ramsey, Justin Locke, Adam and Toryn Locke, Irene Park, and Ruth Grissinger.

Gail Stains, Betty Ramsey, Barb Frehn, Jeananne Kough, Linda Nonemaker and Treva Starr attended the Hopper's concert in Everett on Good Friday.

Andy, Tasha, Shaine and Kean Goshorn attended a Baltimore Orioles game last Saturday.

Dusty and Lucy Ramsey of Franklinville, N.Y., visited with Jen Ramsey and family over Easter.

Roger and Pat Ramsey hosted Easter dinner for Brian and Emily Ramsey, Chad Ramsey, and the McQuait and Fix families.

Tom and Mamie Streightiff enjoyed dining at The Inn at Edgewater Acres in Alexandria on Saturday evening.

Shaine and Kean Goshorn enjoyed some trout fishing with their Uncle Trav on Saturday morning. Also fishing were Andy and Tasha Goshorn and Bobby Madden and friend Jean. Everyone gathered for a fishing picnic with Buzz and Bea Covert before fishing again later in the day.

Gordon Locke spent Saturday afternoon helping Ruth Grissinger with some much needed landscaping. Thanks Gordon.

A >fund has been established for Amanda Yocum's medical expenses. Donations can be made at the Community State Bank in "Amanda's Miracle Fund." Her surgery is scheduled for April 29 at Hershey Medical Center.

Visiting with Steve, Karen, Terri and Tammy Grissinger this week were Ramon Martin, Nora Grissinger, Adam and Toryn Locke, Brent Carlson, Mike, Chris and Kevin Pintozzi, Steve and Ben Haines, Tom and Mamie Streightiff, and Travis Madden.

Steve Grissinger has been busy planting lettuce and onions over and over. The robins keep stealing the lettuce and a squirrel has been busy digging up the onions. Sooner or later, there will be fresh onions and lettuce to enjoy, depending on who wins the war.

Huntingdon County School FFA chapters will be holding their annual spring land-judging competition at the farm of Dick and Kay Anderson. They would like to thank the Andersons for hosting this event.

Immanuel Bible Church held a banquet on Sunday after services to honor the senior members of the congregation.

Immanuel Bible Church will be holding its annual Spring RoundUp event on Sunday, April 26 (raindate May 3). The event will be held at the U R Ok Corral at Immanuel Bible Church at 22054 Starr Road, Three Springs. The event will begin at 4:30 p.m. with games, covered-dish meal at 5:45 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. special music will be provided by the Aughwick Band. Everyone is welcome to attend, please bring a lawn chair and a covered dish for the cowboy type picnic.

Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. will host its open stage event on Saturday, April 25, beginning at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come and share their talent or enjoy the talent of others. The fire company is planning its annual Mother's Day Smorgasbord for May 10 beginning at 11 a.m.

Three Springs Fire Co. will be serving a chicken and waffles dinner on May 3 beginning at 11 a.m.
