It was nice to have a beautiful weekend. Quite a few folks travelling and taking their boats possibly to Raystown Lake. Then on

Monday the rain moved in. Our sympathy is extended to the Nora

Boyer family on the loss of Nora's sister this past week.

We hear a nice crowd attended the Democratic supper at Mc- Connellsburg Firehall on Saturday evening.

Our prayers and speedy recovery wishes go out to Shawn Knepper, who is a patient at University of Maryland. He had surgery but has some complications that he has to recover from. Our prayers go out to him and also to his family.

Hustontown Fire Co. will sponsor an open stage program on Saturday evening, April 25, at 6:00 p.m. Kitchen opens at 5:00 p.m.A chance for an evening out with entertainment and get supper.

Also this Sunday, April 26, a big bingo bonanza, sponsored by Hustontown Fire Co., will be held. Doors open at noon and kitchen will be open. Come out for an afternoon of enjoyment.

Sorry to hear Paul Byers is not doing as well as we would like to hear. Get well wishes to him.

Household hint: Low calorie mayonnaise. Try making your own low calorie mayonnaise. In a blender combine one cup cottage cheese, two tablespoons of vegetable oil, one tablespoon of vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard and 1/2 teaspoon of paprika and process until smooth. This slenderizing spread will keep about two weeks in refrigerator.
