GOP Dinner Fulton County GOP spring dinner will be held on Friday, May 1, at 7:00 p.m., at Hustontown Firehall. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children 6-10, and free for children 5 and under. Speakers will include judicial candidates for the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas. Please contact a member of the Republican committee to obtain advanced tickets.

Election Day Spaghetti Dinner The primary Election Day spaghetti dinner will be held Tuesday, May 19, at Staint Stephen Catholic Church social hall. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Dinner will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Cost of the dinner is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Carryouts will be available.

Angel Food Ministries There will be sig-nup for Angel Food Ministries for May. Menus and specials at Fulton County Catholic Mission. The times will be Tuesday, May 5, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Wednesday, May 6, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, May 7, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Warfordsburg Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. If you eat, you qualify. Spaghetti Supper A spaghetti supper will be held Saturday, April 25, at Greenhill Sewing Club in Harrisonville at 4:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted.

Republican Spring Dinner Fulton County Republican spring dinner will be held May 1 at 7:00 p.m, at Hustontown Firehall. Tickets will be $12 for adults, children 6-10 half price and children 5 and under are free. Tickets may be purchased by calling any committee member or by calling Patty Suders Fix at 717-485-4048.

Ham Sandwich Fundraiser Orders for ham and cheese sandwiches are now being taken with proceeds to benefit Shawn Knepper. He is a patient at the University of Maryland following major brain surgery. Order forms will be circulated or call 987-3661 and place an order. Cost is $2.50 each and delivery date is May 22.

Pancake/Sausage Supper Forbes Road Lions Club will hold a pancake and sausage supper at Hustontown Firehall Saturday, May 2, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. or until supply of food is exhausted. Donations accepted.

Historical Society Dinner Fulton County Historical Society will hold its annual spring dinner meeting at Hustontown Firehall at 6:00 p.m. Friday evening, April 24, 2009. Members and friends who would like to attend must make reservations for the buffet meal by April 17. Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children. Historical Society Tea Fulton County Historical Society is sponsoring a museum spring tea to benefit the museum's conservation efforts. Supplies are needed that aid in preservation of paper documents and the protection of small items. Recently flat files were obtained to store documents that, hopefully, will be housed in the research room at the library for the convenience of researchers. Guests of the tea will have the opportunity to visit the museum before and after the tea. Several door prizes will be awarded. The museum spring tea will be held in the meeting room at the Fulton House on Saturday, April 25, at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $9 for adults and $4.50 for children under 10 and can be purchased at Summer Thyme Flowers on Main Street in McConnellsburg.

Hunters Helping Kids Banquet Hunters Helping Kids Mason Dixon Chapter will hold a banquet June 20 at Hustontown Firehall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a meal and hunting auction to follow. Cost is adults $20; couples $30; children 6-11, $10 and five and under are free. There will be lots of fun and games for the whole family. More information may be obtained by calling 717-485-5529.

Free Dinner St. Paul Lutheran Church of McConnellsburg will offer a free meal the second Tuesday of each month at 5 p.m.
