State Police Probe Milk Tanker Crash In W. Pa.

MEYERSDALE , Pa. (AP) - State police are investigating a tanker truck crash that resulted in 6,000 gallons of milk spilling on a rural highway in southwestern Pennsylvania.

State police at Somerset have not identified the driver or owner of the truck that crashed about 7:15 a.m. Sunday on Old Route 219, also known as the Mason Dixon Highway.

Volunteer fire crews and hazardous materials workers were called in to clean up the mess. It's not clear if the driver was hurt.

State police on Monday say they have no new information to release.
