Wilford Wins Poster Contest


Kirsten Wilford, daughter of Bryan and Cassie Wilford of Harrisonville, won the 2009 local Chambersburg Elks Lodge #600 drug-awareness poster/essay contest and the 2009 South Central District competition this year. Kirsten's poster is now being judged in the 2009 Pennsylvania state competition. This year's theme was "Get Smart ... Don't Start." Kirsten is pictured with her teacher, Jessica Fish, on her left and Kay Zabo the drug-awareness chairman for the Chambersburg Elks Lodge #600 on her right. Kirsten is a sixth-grade student at McConnellsburg Middle School.
