Shawn Knepper of McConnellsburg had major brain surgery

at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore last

The Eagles Club "B" pool team won the Fulton County League Championship recently.

The Eagles Club also held an Easter egg hunt and party Saturday, April 4, for children, with around 30 attending.

Congratulations to Todd and Hillary Alexander on the birth of their second son, Franklin Clinton "Clint." He has an older brother, Reese.

Danielle McGarvey Wagner of Seattle, Wash., visited over the weekend with her relatives in this area and Mercersburg. She spent a week with her parents, Tony and Martina and Cooper of Scotland Greens and Brenda and Briar Rose of Hagerstown

Jean Bender and Joyce Brown of Chambersburg visited with their aunt, Ruth Souders, a resident in Fulton County Medical Center, last Thursday. Their mother, the late Ella Keyser Bender, was their aunt's sister.

Frank and Jody Heidler and family of Penns Creek visited with Jody's parents, Guy and Wanda Truax, over the Easter weekend. The Heidlers sang on Sunday evening in the Grace Bible Methodist Church in Hustontown and that was very enjoyable for the congregation.
