Rain showers didn't dampen the spirits of enthusiastic children and adults hoping to scoop up their fair share of Easter eggs at various egg hunts held throughout the community Saturday. Reuben Knepper (above), son of McConnellsburg residents Craig and Jennifer Knepper, carefully selects his plastic eggs filled with sugary goodies inside the community building at Center United Methodist Church. Meanwhile, excited youths and their parents braved the rain to participate in the McConnellsburg Lions Club easter egg hunt held at Lions Club Park.
