McConnellsburg 82, Shade 60

Robert Shehan capitalized in three individual events and also ran a leg in the winning 400 relay team for the McConnellsburg Spartans, who outlasted Shade 82-60 last Thursday. Shehan's winning events included with shot put, discus and javelin, while teammate Dillon Gordon took both the 110 and 300 hurdles. Johnny Joe Wible was victorious in the 800 meter, and Geoff Campbell won the triple jump. Fellow runners in the 400 relay were Paul Hock, Trent Sowers and Dylan Deneen.

Berlin 106, McConnellsburg 40

Robert Shehan picked up a pair of wins for the McConnellsburg Spartans, who fell to Berlin by the final score of 106-40 last Tuesday. Shehan was victorious in the discus and shot put, while the 1600-meter relay team comprised of Jeff Campbell, Johnny Joe Wible, Tyler Nero and Dillon Gordon also took a first-place win. Gordon also won in the 110 hurdles.

Southern Fulton 72, Faith Christian 72, Hancock 56,

Berkeley Springs 50

Southern Fulton tied for a first-place finish last Tuesday during a quad meet against Faith Christian, Hancock, Berkeley Springs. Andrew Lane was victorious in two competitions winning both the shot put and discus, while Tim Rohm took the 300 hurdles and also established a personal best record with a time of 45:4. In addition, Steven Meyer and Josh Wertz were successful in the javelin and long jump.
