Shalom Christian 2

Forbes Road tallied four runs in the second inning Monday night, leading to a 5-2 victory over Shalom Christian. Jerry Berkstresser took the mound and his first win during the non-league match with 16 strikeouts, four walks and three hits. Berkstresser also led from the plate with a pair of RBIs, while teammate Trent Black went two-fortwo.

Chestnut Ridge 18,

Southern Fulton 5

Four members of the Southern Fulton Indians squad took the mound over a five-inning time span during a disappointing 18-5 loss to Chestnut Ridge. Josh Hall was handed the loss after three innings with two strikeouts, one walk, seven hits and five earned runs. Justin Berkstresser had three RBIs during a homer in the first inning of Monday's game.

Fannett-Metal 10,

McConnellsburg 9

Fannett-Metal eked out a one-run win last Thursday evening, downing the Mc- Connellsburg Spartans in seven innings by the score of 10-9. Logan Peck took the mound for the Spartans for more than five innings and totalled two strikeouts, three walks, 12 hits and nine earned runs. Nathan Swope and Drew Wink both tallied two hits at the plate.

Forbes Road 7, Hancock 6

Forbes Road picked up its first win of the spring season last Thursday, just narrowly sliding by Hancock, Md., 7-6 in nonleague action. Trent Black, pitcher, took the victory with seven strikeouts, six hits, three walks and only three earned runs with help from the defense. Dillen Burger batted three-for-four with a double and three RBIs, while teammate Andrew King finished with two RBIs.

Tussey Mountain 4,

Southern Fulton 1

Tussey Mountain rallied for three runs in the opening inning of last Tuesday's match and coasted to a 4-1 victory over the Southern Fulton Indians. Derek Younker gave up nine hits and struck out six at the plate for the Indians. Younker also had three walks and two earned runs. Zach Morton had the team's lone hit, an RBI single.
