Get well wishes to Wilda Drake, Barney Wilt, Nancy Horne, Dick Wible, Justin Locke, Jessie Rhoades, John Horton, Mary Mort, and Jim and Carolyn Mills.

Get well wishes to Kara Park, who had surgery on Saturday in Chambersburg. Also get well wishes to Steve Park, who is suffering from some fractured ribs after a fall on Sunday.

Visiting with Steve, Karen, Terri and Tammy Grissinger this week were Brent Carlson, Richard and Linda Bennett, Buzz and Bea Covert, Tom and Mamie Streightiff, and Travis Madden.

Visiting on Tuesday evening and checking out the farm babies were Gary, Donna, Cassie and Caleigh Clark. Cassie is ready to start gathering Easter eggs; she's been practicing at home.

Donna Locke visited with Irene Park on Friday.

Mamie Streightiff visited with Tim Streightiff in Washington, D.C., this weekend and enjoyed the Cherry Blossom Festival.

Get well wishes to Becca Carlson, who is scheduled for knee surgery this week in Philadelphia.

Auctioneer Lyle Reed of Mc- Connellsburg will be holding a sale for Sam Park at the old Maddensville Schoolhouse on Good Friday. The sale begins at 9 a.m.

Roger and Pat Ramsey enjoyed cake and ice cream with Wayne, Elaine and Rylan Good, Mary Good, Lester and Edy Kitzmiller, and Brian and Emily Ramsey on Sunday evening. > Wayne and Elaine hosted the celebration for Emily, Wayne and Edy's birthdays.

On Friday, Jeananne Kough, Barb Frehn, Gail Stains, Betty Ramsey and Linda Nonemaker traveled to Blanchard where they picked up Pauline Bowes. After dinner, the group attended the play "King of Kings" at Blanchard Church of Christ.

Gail Stains, Betty Ramsey and Barb Frehn attended the Blackwood's concert this past week in Mount Union that benefited the B. J. Prough Memorial Scholarship Fund.

An Easter egg hunt will be held at Walnut Grove fellowship building on Friday, April 10, at 4:00 p.m.

Steve and Karen Grissinger visited with Sonny, Doug and Dennis Flasher and Donnie and Jana Keebaugh on Saturday afternoon in Orbisonia. Later in the day, Steve and Karen visited with Jim and Carolyn Mills and Christian McClure.

Walnut Grove Sr. Youth Group recently spent a weekend in Elk County relaxing and taking in the sights. >The group included Alex Cornelius, Dezaray Swope, Dane Martz, Dustin Barr, Joey Pine, Logan Fritz, Kevin, Lynette, Ryan, Kelsey and Brianne Fleck, and Joe, Melanie, Cody and Dison Myers.

Enjoying lunch at Fire Mountain this weekend and attending a play, "Redemption," in Camp Hill were Barb Frehn, Gail Stains, Fred, Sue and Neva Fleming, June Mills, Tina and Rachel Barr, Wendy Cave, Betty Ramsey, and Judy and Melanie Myers.

Immanuel Bible Church will be holding its annual spring roundup event Sunday, April 26 (raindate May 3). The event will be held at the U R OK Corral at Immanuel Bible Church at 22054 Starr Road, Three Springs. The event will begin at 4:30 p.m., with games, covered-dish meal at 5:45 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. special music will be provided by the Aughwick Band. Everyone is welcome to attend. Please bring a lawn chair and a covered dish for the cowboy-type picnic.

Sunrise services will be held at Immanuel Bible Church beginning at 6:30 a.m. followed by a breakfast prepared by the fellows.

Hustontown Volunteer Fire Co. is hosting a hog shoot for the regular shoot on April 11 beginning at 1 p.m. Participants must shoot all rounds to qualify for the hog round. The fire company is holding a food auction on Friday, April 10, beginning at 6 p.m., with the kitchen opening at 5 p.m.

The fire company will host a big bingo bonanza April 26. Doors will open at noon. The monthly open stage event will be held on Saturday, April 25 beginning at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come and share their talent or enjoy the talent of others.

Three Springs Fire Co. is holding a chicken barbecue on April 19. Takeouts will also be available.
