Dodgeball Tournament A dodgeball tournament will be held Saturday, April 18, at Needmore Bible Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. Preregister by April 8. Cost is $5 per person; six people per team, subs optional. Concession stand will be available. Must be 13 or older to play. More information may be obtained by calling 573-4400.

Spring Concert Fulton County Community Christian School will hold its annual spring concert Friday, April 17, at 7:00 p.m., at Needmore Bible Church gym. The public is invited. Elementary, middle and high school students will present the point of view of the animals on the ark through songs. There is no charge, but a free-will offering will be taken to benefit the Elmer Hann Scholarship Fund.

Shooting Matches Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Company will hold shooting matches for April. A regular shoot and hot shoot will be held April 11. Must shoot all ten regular rounds to qualify for the hog round.

Egg Hunt An Easter egg hunt will be held at Walnut Grove Church of God on Good Friday. It will be held at the church building on Wible Reunion Road in Three Springs on April 10 at 4:00 p.m. Ages 1-13 years old are welcome to come join in for an Easter story, some games, egg hunt and snacks. All are also invited to Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and worship service at 10:30 a.m. and prayer meetings on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.

Egg Hunt McConnellsburg Lions Club Easter egg hunt will be held April 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Lions Club Park.

Dodgeball Tournament McConnellsburg Alumni & Friends Association will hold a dodgeball tournament Saturday, April 11, at the old MHS gym (old Lions Club community building). Registration will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., with the competition starting at 9:00 a.m. Teams must have at least six people. Only six members play at a time. How many teams enter will determine the type of tournament offered. Every team guaranteed to play at least two matches. If you want to play and can not get a team together, call Mrs. Kendall and she will try to put one together for you. Cowboys Registration The 2009 registration for Fulton County Cowboys will be held April 14 and 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; April 26 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and May 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Child must be at least 9 years old by September 1, 2009, and no older than 12 by September 1, 2009, for tackle football and must be at least 5 years old by September 1, 2009, and no older than 8 by September 1, 2009, for flag football. Niagara Falls Trip Modern Woodmen of America Camp 7948 is sponsoring a bus trip to Niagara Falls, Canada, on Saturday, May 16. Each person will need only a birth certificate and state ID for entrance into Canada for this trip. Effective June 1, 2009, a passport will be needed and this will be the last trip before this requirement. Cost for the trip is $55 for adults and children. The bus departs from McConnellsburg Courthouse at 5:00 a.m., with stops in Mt. Union and Huntingdon. Estimated return time is 1:00 a.m. in McConnellsburg. X Card Shoot Fulton County Rifle and Pistol Club is having a special X card shoot every Friday night at 7:00 p.m. during the month of April. Eleven regular rounds for 12 and 20 gauge (ammo supplied) and two .410 outlaw rounds (no ammo supplied). Prizes are gift certificates to Keystone Country Store. There is a gun bowl and the kitchen is open.

Line Dance Fulton County Line Dance Club will hold line dance sessions every Wednesday (except the first Wednesday of the month) beginning at 7:00 p.m. at VFW Post 655, Poplar Street, McConnellsburg. All are welcome. Come and learn some new steps. A $2 donation is appreciated.

Youth Day Hunters Helping Kids will be hosting a youth day June 20 at Fulton County Pistol and Rifle Club, starting at 8:30 a.m. Children from ages 5 and above are welcome to learn and shoot rifle, crossbow, shotgun, etc. Forestry and wildlife walks, food and games will also be held. Power Team's Additional Performances The nationally reknowned Power Team will be holding additional performances throughout Fulton County starting off with 7 p.m. acts of strength, spiritualism and devotion on Wednesday, April 22, at McConnellsburg Methodist Church, Calvary Independent Baptist Church and the Needmore Bible Church. Furthermore, students at McConnellsburg Junior/Senior High School will be treated to assemblies on April 24 at 9 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. Anyone needing additional information regarding evening performances should call 717-860-0630.

PA-R-PAC Bus Trip PA-R-PAC will be hosting a bus trip to Landover, Md., to the National Air Show located at Andrews Air Force Base on Sunday, May 17. Featured will be the Thunderbirds. The day will be spent on the Air Force runway getting close to planes and watching them put on a wonderful show. The bus will leave the McConnellsburg American Legion at 7:00 a.m. and will return around 8:00 p.m. A stop will be made in Frederick for breakfast as well as dinner on the way home. Car Show The Fulton County AVTS Drafting and Design Department is sponsoring its seventh annual auto show on April 25, 2009, at Mc- Connellsburg High School parking lot. Registration is from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. There will a bake sale as well as vehicles on display from various dealerships. Raindate will be May 23, 2009.

Practice Trap Shoots Fulton County Rifle and Pistol Club wishes to invite the public to join in or practice trap shoots every Friday night starting Good Friday, April 10, until November 20 and trap shoots at noon the third Sunday of every month from now until the end of the year.

Great Cove Spring Better Ball Great Cove Golf and Recreation will be hosting a two-man better ball golf tournament on Saturday, April 25. Tee times will begin at 8:00 a.m. and run through 1:00 p.m. The cost will be $80 per player. Included in the cost are golf, prizes, steak dinner and beverages. Please sign up at the golf course.
