George F. Luckadoo
George F. Luckadoo, 67, Huntingdon, died at 9:05 a.m., Friday, March 27, 2009, at his Oneida Township home.
He was born March 16, 1942, in Harlan, Ky., the son of the late Basel L. Sr. and Isabel (Spurlock) Luckadoo. He was married to Mary A. Heck October 24, 2002, at Alexandria. She survives at their home.
Also surviving are a daughter, Candace Mitchell, Bowling Green, Ky.; three stepchildren: Kristi Thompson and husband Doug, Huntingdon; Eric Mc- Mullen and fiancee Sheila Shore, Mount Union; and Bradley Mc- Mullen and fiancee Kara Radick, Mill Creek; three grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters: Donald Luckadoo, Mapleton; Rev. William Paul Luckadoo, McAlisterville; Joyce Mills, Alexandria; Ora Jean Gross, Caywood, Ky.; and Mary Sue Thomas, Hustontown.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Basel L. Luckadoo Jr. and Hal Luckadoo and one sister, Joan Gross.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was the owner and operator of George Luckadoo Builder, formerly Cherokee Builder.
He was a huge racing fan of NASCAR and Hesston Speedway where he was a car sponsor. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, gardening and his puppy, "Rascal."
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 30, at Robert E. Peters Funeral Home, Huntingdon. Rev. William Paul Luckadoo officiated. Burial was made in Donation Cemetery, Huntingdon.
