New Bank, New Name, New Sign

The merger between Harrisburg-based Graystone Bank and The First National Bank of Greencastle was finalized Tuesday, and bank officials wasted no time getting the new financial institution's name, "Tower Bank, A Division of Graystone Tower Bank," on its McConnellsburg branch. The sign was first erected by The First National Bank of McConnellsburg and was not changed when the Greencastle bank took over the Fulton County owned and operated bank in 2006. The combined banks will have $1.2 billion in assets and more than 300 employees at 25 locationss in south-central Pennsylvania.
