Pierogi, Kielbasa, Sauerkraut Dinner Saint Stephen Family Life Committee is sponsoring a pierogi and kielbasa and sauerkraut dinner on Tuesday, April 7, at 6:00 p.m. in Saint Stephen social hall. Cost of the tickets is $5. Tickets must be purchased by April 1. To purchase tickets, call 717-485-5917.

Turkey/Ham Dinner A turkey and ham dinner will be served family style April 19 at 11:30 a.m. at Six Mile Run Firehall. More information may be obtained by calling 928-4034.

Pancake/Sausage Supper Forbes Road Lions Club will hold a pancake and sausage supper at Hustontown Firehall Saturday, May 2, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. or until supply of food is exhausted. Donations accepted.

Democratic Banquet Fulton County Democratic banquet will be held Saturday, April 18, at 6:30 p.m., at McConnellsburg Firehall. Tickets may be obtained by calling committee members or at the door.

Historical Society Dinner Fulton County Historical Society will hold its annual spring dinner meeting at Hustontown Fire Hall at 6:00 p.m. Friday evening, April 24, 2009. Members and friends who would like to attend must make reservations for the buffet meal by April 17. Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children. Hoagie Sale St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Big Cove Tannery, will hold a hoagie sale Saturday, April 18. Lunch will be served at the school-house across from the church and made-to-order hoagies will be served, along with homemade soups and pies. For call-ahead orders, contact Betty Bivens at 485-3058. Mark calendars for Saturday, June 20, for the annual church festival at the church. Thrivent has made available matching funds.

Historical Society Tea Fulton County Historical Society is sponsoring a museum spring tea to benefit the museum's conservation efforts. Supplies are needed that aid in preservation of paper documents and the protection of small items. Recently flat files were obtained to store documents that, hopefully, will be housed in the research room at the library for the convenience of researchers. Guests of the tea will have the opportunity to visit the museum before and after the tea. Several door prizes will be awarded. The museum spring tea will be held in the meeting room at the Fulton House on Saturday, April 25, at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $9 for adults and $4.50 for children under 10 and can be purchased at Summer Thyme Flowers on Main Street in McConnellsburg.

Hunters Helping Kids Banquet Hunters Helping Kids Mason Dixon Chapter will hold a banquet June 20 at Hustontown Firehall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a meal and hunting auction to follow. Cost is adults $20; couples $30; children 6-11, $10 and five and under are free. There will be lots of fun and games for the whole family. More information may be obtained by calling 717-485-5529.

Easter Dinner Easter dinner will be held at Fulton County Senior Centers on Wednesday, April 8. For reservations, please call Hustontown - 987-3770; McConnellsburg - 485-5613; or Warfordsburg - 294-6020.

Potpie Supper Trinity United Church of Christ in Fort Loudon will hold its chicken, ham and beef potpie supper on Saturday, April 4. It will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Community Center located at Hawbaker Drive and Mullen Street. You may eat in or order carryouts. Adult meals are $7. Meals for children ages 7-12 are $5 and under age 7 eat free. The menu includes pepper slaw, applesauce, pickles, cake, punch and coffee. Chopped onions and vinegar will be available for those who enjoy adding them to potpie. The meal is all-you-can-ea, served buffet style.

Ham Potpie Dinner A ham potpie dinner will be held at Fair Ridge Assembly of God Ministry Center, Shade Gap, Saturday, April 4, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Adults are $6; ages 6-12, $3, and children 5 and under free. Located on old Rt. 522 going north from Sunny Ridge Restaurant.

Free Dinner St. Paul Lutheran Church of McConnellsburg will offer a free meal the second Tuesday of each month at 5 p.m. All church members and the community are welcome to join in for food and fellowship.
